FAQ

What's a DuraBook?
DuraBooks are highly durable, waterproof books. Melcher Media’s DuraBook patent covers a method for producing bound waterproof books — the only standard binding available for waterproof books.

What kind of paper do you use?
DuraBooks are printed on a synthetic paper.

Where can I buy the paper?
If you are interested in paper only, try contacting a domestic supplier such as Yupo. They carry a stock similar to that used in DuraBooks.

What DuraBook services does Melcher Media offer?
Melcher Media acts as a publisher, packager, or print broker, depending on a project’s specifications. We produce books with minimum quantities in the 5K-10K range. If you would like printing estimates for a project, please send us specifications and quantities for your project. Costs tend to be more higher than traditional bookmaking; generally, it is not economical for quantities fewer than 5K.
